This plugin stopped working after updating to Wordpress 3.5, and now there is a patch. The developer doesn’t seem to have the time to update the plugin or has lost interest in it. There for to help all of you out, I have included the code for the patch, the individual file with the patched code and the full plugin with the patch as a zip.

This is a modified version of the WP-Cycle plugin by Nathan Rice which includes changes by Chris Grab and myself.
The WP-Cycle Plus Captions plugin allows you to upload images from your computer, which will then be used to generate a jQuery Cycle Plugin slideshow.
Each image can be given a URL, the active image will then work just like your basic text link. The slideshow is set to pause when the user hovers over the slideshow images, giving them ample time to click the link.
