What is Smore?
Well, a S’more is a very tasty treat most of us have made, with a camp fire toasted marshmallow and some chocolate between two graham crackers. However, that’s not the Smore that will be discussed in this article. This other type of Smore will allow you to quickly and easily create beautiful digital flyers. Together we are going to see how they can be used to promote products, events, articles, and any other creative print idea you may have.
Examples Flyers:
1. tinydipity
They mainly sell Organic Cotton clothes online for small children and like most ecommerce stores they distribute coupon codes. However, just pasting the code in Twitter or on Facebook doesn’t draw a lot of attention. So they created a nice flyer in Smore.
2. Classic Zester/Grater
Perhaps you have a product to sell like this one. It’s not your everyday product but you believe it should be owned by everyone. Why should people buy it? What’s so great about it?
They chose a unique way to market their product. They provided a recipe for Creamy Mushroom Sauce, and a description and link to a product they believe will help each person to complete the recipe successfully.
3. Winona Steamboat Days
This is a local event. I actually created this flyer which I will walk you through in my next article. I picked an event template which provides a nice balanced layout. to display information and a few places to grab peoples attention with images. They also provide a way to include audio and video into the flyer, however I didn’t have any to include.
